Sipara Technologies is planning to invest, develop, install, and operate Solar, Wind and other renewable energy power plants in order to reduce the carbon emission while creating jobs for the local youth.

Sipara Technologies is also planning to invest, develop and operate in the field of Zero Emission Mobility and Transportation..

Sipara Technologies is certified by the Sustainable Energy Authority (SEA) as a renewable energy company, power plant developer, EPC contractor.

Sipara Technologies consists of a highly qualified and capable engineering & management teams, and striving to be an active force, in this transition stage from fossil fuels to renewable energy in the Sri Lanka market.

In addition to developing larger renewable energy power plans, it has two other business units

Distributor of solar panels and inverters.
EPC contractor of solar power plants including rooftop solar.

Strategy

Sipara Technologies is presently in the process of identifying other opportunities within the renewable energy sector. The company aims to acquire renewable energy assets to establish its presence far and wide. Sipara Technologies is also investigating and exploring new and innovative renewable technologies, such as sea wave technology, keeping in line with the global renewable energy trends. Sipara Technologies has developed a significant pipeline of project opportunities throughout the region. The company develops green energy projects that contribute to a carbon-free world. The company continuously evaluates potential markets and new technologies and is keen on establishing new business relationships within the industry as the renewable energy market continues to expand. Sipara Technologies oversees every stage of the development process - including site selection, project development and design, project financing, construction, installation, and ongoing maintenance. The company also offers several options to their clientele, and the projects financed by Sipara Technologies are owned and operated by them. Sipara Technologies also serves as a leading consulting and project management company in the energy industry.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Former Amb. Buddhi Athauda completed his University education in the USA and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and International Business. He commenced his professional career in satellite mobile communication industry by joining IRIDIUM LLC, a high-tech startup in Washington D.C. USA wherein he contributed to the development of business plans for fund-raising of approximately US $7.5 billion. He also contributed to the listing of the company in the New York stock exchange.

Athauda also served at the Board of Investments of Sri Lanka (BOI) and many private corporations including energy, luxury real-estate, investment banking and high tech industry sectors. During his tenure as the Ambassador, he co-founded the Diplomatic Council, a United Nations (UN) accredited, global Think Tank. He was elected to many leadership positions in many Multilateral organizations. He is currently an advisor to the Minister of Sustainable Energy in Sri Lanka and is a founding director of a renewable energy company.
